Miers Gone

Under withering attack from conservatives, President Bush abandoned his push to put loyalist Harriet Miers on the Supreme Court. I wanted to ask everyones opinion on if this was a strong political move by the Bush Administration or a sign of weakness by Bush?

I think it could go either way. It's either that he cracked under pressure and did not want to fight for what he originally thought or that or that he honestly took into consideration the opinions from the conservatives. I think it will be determined by the outcome of his decisions.
