The ongoing investigation to the leak of a CIA operative's identity has gotten more interesting. Bob Woodward has come out and said that Scooter Libby was not the one who told him Valerie Plame's identity.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Washington Post's Bob Woodward learned the identity of a CIA analyst from an unnamed Bush administration official almost a month before it was publicly revealed, the reporter said in a statement published Wednesday.

Woodward said his source was not I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney's former chief of staff who was indicted in the CIA leak investigation last month.

Libby's lawyer said Woodward's disclosures undermine the case against his client.

I think this is very interesting. After Libby resigned, it seemed as if the administration wanted to sweep this whole thing under the rug and pretend like everything is ok now.
What do you think about this? Will there be more charges?

On a side note, I've also read interesting articles on how this has affected Plame's career. She says she can no longer work for the CIA because her cover was blown. It also threatened all of the projects she had been working on.
Do you think there's the possibility of a civil case here too?

Comments:
it seems that they would just want it to go away but the further you dig..the bigger the story is getting. and definitly this will affect her life as well as her career..what is she gonna do?
