After reading the newspaper article I realize that most of the media reports are on the negative aspects of the story. The media knows that people will watch television to see what negative things that have happened. In the article it talks about the Laci Peterson and Micheal Jackson stories which w was covered very closely due to the affect it had to the public. Instead of the media telling and spending more time on the important stories they would rather send hours on something negative.
