I am from a small town/rural county where most people seem to share views in line with the Republican party, but nearly all candidates run and the majority of voters vote on Democratic tickets, kind of like we were discussing in class. I'm just wondering if anyone else in the class is from an area with a similar political structure and if so what are some thoughts on that?
