Wife murder's pastor
Mary Winkler planned the murder of herhusband Matthew Winkler and fleed with their three daughters. It is a sad that the wife is facing first degree murder but she have to pay for the crime she commited.

everytime i hear news or an update about this case my heart simply hurts. i keep thinking of the three little girls who will forever be remembered as the "winkler" children. the fact that this particular story made national news reinforces the material we've been studying in class about agenda setting. it has made prominent headlines because the tragedy seems so out of place. a preacher murdered in selmer, tn? it just doesn't make logical sense....or does it? are we so naive of the evil forces that lurk around us (even in the bible belt)?
