Discredited MSU players
On Saturday night 5 MSU football players assaulted an off-duty police officer, and they all were warned that he was a police officer. Now the football players will be charge with assault on a police officer and not one of them was over the age 19. It sad to see young football players hurt their career this way.

i agree. it amazed me that the story hit national news. furthermore, i was impressed with Coach Croom's assessment of the situation and his loyalty to his players. he said, "It is my intent to discipline our players as if they were my own sons...my own flesh and blood. I’m disappointed that the players have put themselves in a very embarrassing situation and did not use good judgment in a conflict situation. Croom continued, “I’m just hopeful that lessons have been learned. As these young men move into mature adulthood, as they meet crisis situations, they must learn to either defuse the situation or walk away from it.”
