Gov. Barbour helps with Hurricane Campaign
Gov. Haley Barbour tells Mississippians to have hope for this year, but to also prepare for the worst when 2006 hurricane season comes. Barbour had an eight week campaign in Biloxi to inform people about how to be prepared before hurricane season. I think that Barbour is doing a good job of helping people to prepare for hurricane season because it is very important that people take this situation very serious. Barbour also had the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency to do a survey to determine how many people will need transportation in the southernmost counties in case an evacuation is called.

its encouraging to know barbour is taking such a serious approach to this situation. going through the hassle of creating a survey to know the needs of residents isnt an easy thing to do. i admire his efforts to reach out to prospective victims.
