Obama speaks at Dr. King's Church
Relating to our comments in class on religion and politics, today Barack Obama was given the opportunity to speak at Dr. Martin Luther King's church. You can watch the video below.
In case you didn't know, CNN is gearing up to televise the South Carolina Democratic Primary Debate at 7 p/m central (8 p/m eastern). So it should be interesting what gets debated by the candidates not only on Martin Luther King Day, but also on the eve of the South Carolina Primary. Could this primary decide whether John Edwards stays in the race or not? Currently Obama is in the lead, and Edwards has half as many delegates as Clinton. Kucinich and Gravel trail him, both with no delegates.
Also, just a heads up, George W. Bush has less than ONE YEAR left in office now, and election day is even sooner than that.
