I heard an interesting item on Paul Harvey this morning. The anchor (a sub for Harvey) mentioned the possibility of some real politicking on Capitol Hill today. He explained that some General, whose name escapes me, was testifying to the Senate Armed Services Committee today about the progress in Iraq. Members of that committee include John McCain, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama...

I have not had a chance to look for any reports of the day's events but I can only imagine the tension that those three could bring to a room these days!!
