I was reading an article in the Wall Street Journal yesterday about President Obama being a stickler for details and even a little more of a micromanger than past Presidents. I agree that his approach does seem like micromanaging but he is also doing as he promised in his campaign to take accountability and in order to take accountability you have to know what you and your administration is responsible for producing. The article discusses that he also uses the public comments sometimes to counter or reaffirm his administration's goals. This may not be a realistic approach to improving our government but it is a very noble attempt.
